Follow the Diagram above to see the labeled numbers that apply to the pendant functions:
( 1 ) STOP: STOP / NO / CANCEL the program/cutting of the file or on-screen message prompt; also can CANCEL operation or action currently running. (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Program Controls” section.)
( 2 ) PLAY: Launch the program/cutting of the file. (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Program Controls” section.)
( 3 ) RETURN TO PATH: Return to the last working point. (Example: if the program stopped & torch moved away manually.) (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Program Controls” section.)
( 4 ) RESET PATH: Reset the program pointer to the start of the control program. (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Program Controls” section.)
( 5 ) SPEED OVERRIDE %: The user can quickly lower the Jog Speed of the system by using the Speed Override % button with the “100%, 30%”, “10%” and “5%” options to reduce the jog speed to the respective percentage of its default value. At the top of the Pendant you will see the perc (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Speed Override” section.)
( 6 ) JOG LEFT: Moves up the path towards the beginning of cut. Jogging mode allows the user to run through the program at a separate speed without the cutting commands. This is useful to quickly position the machine to a point that the user requires, or to see how the XYZ movement will play out without the actual cutting commands. (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Jog Controls” section.)
( 7 ) JOG RIGHT: Moves down the path towards the end of cut.
( 8 ) TRACE JOB: The system travels according to the dimensions of the program. This allows to limit the cutting zone strictly to the program footprint. (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Work Offset” section.)
( 9 ) TORCH PROBE: Ability to find material by lowering a Torch and searching material sheet by probing. Runs surface measure procedure M272. The machine will switch to the slow speed to avoid making contact too rapidly. (On-Screen Software Location: Found in the “Work Offset” section.)
( 10 ) TORCH FIRE: Torch Fire is used to test or purge the Mechanized Torch. Turns on the plasma torch using the M271 procedure. Usually appears in use or instance when performing an A-B CUT, cutting a straight line between two set points. CAUTION: Take additional precautions and safety when using this feature. (On-screen Software Location: Found in the “Work Offset” section.)
JOG CONTROLS: The Jog Controls tab allows the operator to manually move the machine in the XYZ directions. The size of the “step” (the distance the machine moves per one press on the arrow buttons) can be set on-screen in the software to 0.1 inch, 1 inch, or a custom value. Alternatively, setting the on-screen jog step size to infinite makes the machine move for as long as the jog button is pressed. The Jog Controls consist of 8 directional jogging buttons:
( 11 ) Y+ Torch moves towards the BACK of the table. (Blue Up Arrow)
( 12 ) Y- Torch moves towards the FRONT of the table. (Blue Down Arrow)
( 13 ) X+ Torch moves towards the RIGHT SIDE of the table. (Blue Right Arrow Button)
( 14 ) X- Torch moves towards the LEFT SIDE of the table. (Blue Left Arrow Button)
( 15 ) Y+X- Torch moves diagonally towards the BACK LEFT SIDE of the table. (White Top-Left Arrow Button)
( 16 ) Y+X+ Torch moves diagonally towards the BACK RIGHT SIDE of the table. (White Top-Right Arrow Button)
( 17 ) Y-X- Torch moves diagonally towards the FRONT LEFT SIDE of the table. (White Bottom-Left Arrow Button)
( 18 ) Y-X+ Torch moves diagonally towards the FRONT RIGHT SIDE of the table. (White Bottom-Right Arrow Button)
( 19 ) LASER: If you have a Laser guide installed and connected, the Laser Guide toggle turns on the laser guide tool position offset. When the Laser Guide is ON, the Indicator LED Light at the top will be lit in red. (On-screen Software Location: Found in the “Work Offset” section.)
( 20 ) Set B / CUT A TO B Buttons: Used for the A – B Cut Function. The A-B Cut option allows the user to utilize two points (A and B) to cut a straight line from one point to the other. 1. Jog to the Finish Position (B-point) 2. Click SET (B) to assign the current position as B-point 3. Jog to the Start Position 4. Click CUT A TO B to start straight cut from A to B, press OK to confirm the operation. The system will then perform a cut in a straight line between two points. (On-screen Software Location: Found in the “Advanced Tab Sidebar” section.)
( 21 ) OK Button: Tap OK to accept on-screen prompt or answer to YES.
( 22 ) PARK 1 & PARK 2: The ability to select up to 2 parking locations on the machine that the system can then be easily returned to. On-screen software provides up to 10 parking positions.(On-screen Software Location: Found in the “Advanced Tab Side bar within the Parking Presets button” section.)

Homing is mandatory upon each restart or updating of the software. (On-Screen Software Location: Found at the top in the Main Navigation as a button labeled “Homing”.)
( 26 ) WORK OFFSET: Consists of 4 corner buttons. This allows the operator to quickly change the work offset to tie the current machine position to one of the four corners of the rectangle that encloses the currently loaded G-code program. (On-screen Software Location: Found in the “Work Offset” section.)
( 27 ) CASE PROTECTOR: The black silicone Case Protector comes included in your order to safeguard & prevent your device from water splashing.
